Have you had an accident?

A friend of mine told me that ehy know someone who’s child accidentally pulled there LCD TV down on themselves. Obviously TV was that big that unfortunately it crushed the child and the child did not survive the fall.

From this i wonder how many children are killed by this accidental injury that can occur any time anywhere. The only way to prevent this i suppose is to wall mount the TV so that it can not be pulled down accidentally.  One of the only other ways to prevent this is to enable TV’s to be secured to the TV stand in way that they cannot be pulled down.

With LCD tv’s being so slime now they are quite vunrable to being pulled down. Only CRT TV’s would not get pulled down as easy due to the fact  they have alot of weight at the back of the TV.

Tadamasa Goto a Leader of the Yakuza gangs has been accepted for training as a priest in Tokyo.

The Leader has been kicked out of the gang after splitting the gang into fractions. Goto has been said to be extremely violent.

Now that is a way to lead your sheep with an iron fist. Anyone does anything wrong and they may loose a limb or even there head.

On the flip side of this tho I wonder is this a brilliant plan by the Ex Leader to become a priest so that he is respeted as someone who will not be killed by a contract killer.

In some faiths killing a priest is seen as being very bad and they would never do it. Thus becoming a priest would stop them from being killed hopefully.

If anyone knows any faiths where this is true please comment below as I am very intriged to find out??

A 64 Year old Women who suffered a Stroke recently has developed a third limb.

No Not really. The lady believes that she has a third arm tho. This incident is the first case of a person being able to see, feel and move her phantom limb.

Test have showen that the women controls her third arm and hand as she does her normal limbs. The Phantom limb can scratch and relieve itches if needed. Her body will even react if her phantom hand and real hand meet or if her phantom hand believes it touches a surface.

Scientists at Geneva University Hosptial in Switzerland were able to provide evidence that shows that the womens brain not only tells the phantom arm to do tasks. The phantom arm responds with signals that her normal arm would respond with. The hosptial used magnetic resonance imaging to produce these results.

I dont know whether this is a good or a bad thing for the women. I mean the women might give something to her phantom limb and it would drop. But then again say if you worked with machinery and accidentally cut your arm off and it was the phantom one she would be fine, she still has two others left.

Tuesday 7th April 2009 saw Missouri Town, a small town in Winfield have relected there current Mayor.

Harry Stonebraker won the election by sealing 206 votes which was 90 percent of papers. Unfortunately Stonebraker died 69 on 11th March 2009.

The ballots had already been created and  some had been completed when the election process was going through. The Mayor was announced as the late Harry Stonebraker.

The question is what will happen. The last time this happened it was US senate race for Missouri in 2000 when Democrat Mel Carnahan died in a plane crash just weeks before winning the election in November. The wife of the late Carnahan was appointed until she lost a special election in 2002.

The lesson that must be learnt from this is that we should never either get on a plane or suffer from heart problems when ruinning for Mayor or Office.

To be honest who would want to run for Office in America anyway.

It stands 66 feet tall with a wingspan of 178 feet. This rustic angel is aimed at being an embrace on the north of the country. The Only things it embraces now is car accidents.

There has been a apparent increase in the accidents near where the Angel of the North is situated. Latest reports suggest that the Angel of the North see the most accidents in the country. More people crash there cars there than do at any other piece of artwork.

Why??

Because one half of people in the North East think that this is a superb display of art and marvel at it every time they pass. Thus they slow down and glare at the Angel and not at the road. IDIOTS!!!!

The other half of people inlcuding myself think that it is positioned in the worst place in the world. We have no time for it so we dont glar at it and we get on with our own driving. Only by a stroke of luck I missed being drove into by a ‘Angel Glarrer’ once.

Why dont they stick stuff like that in a field miles away from main roads. This is Gateshead Council for you…..

Have you ever been injured by Syrup? nope neither have I.

I was just scanning the net for stuff to include on this blog then I found this funny but sad article.

In Boston, 1919, there was a huge tank of molasses exploded on a hot day. This explosion sent a 15ft high wave of sweetener through the local neighbourhood hitting speeds of 35 mph. The molasses tsunami killed 21 people and injured around 150.

This obviously was very sad for the people who died, but what a way to go. I mean you always hear about sad events that kill people and it is always classed as a terrible way to die.

To die by being swept away with a 15ft wave of syrup I bet is some people’s dream.

I have been brought up to see death as a celebration of life and to smile, not to be sad about death. I just would find it hard to keep a straight face when telling the family about the incident, especially if I was telling late generations that you great great granfather was swept away with great Syrup wave of 1919.

A man in Texas was taken to hospital with a knife wound to the leg and chest.

These injuries were caused by the mans room-mate. The man in Waco Texas had been attacked by his room mate because his farting became that bad that the room mate took action by throwing a knife in the leg then proceed to retrieve the knife and stab the farter in the chest.

The assailant a Mr Jose Braule Ramirez, 33, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The man is being jailed for his crime.

Right first of all. How can someone in there right mind get that annoyed at the fact that there room mate is farting. Also even if you were annoyed you would just tell the person not throw a knife at there leg never mind retrieve the knife and go for the chest.

This could only happen in America.

With the gathering of the g20 summit there was always going to be conflict.

Unfortunately the conflict that occurred ended up with a innocent bystander being attacked and later having a heart attacker that result in his death.

There is always going to be two sided to the story.

The victim..

He had finished work and was strolling home. He did not possess any harmful items and he was not being a nuisance. The pictures and video of the incident show this.

So why was this heavy handed approach used on a man who was not shouting abuse, wielding any weapons, not even facing his attackers. He was not even part of the demonstration. But still a police officer saw him as a threat that much that he had to take force so extreme that it was able to initiate a heart attack.

The Police…

They have to rule with a iron fist at moments like this. They dont want the demonstration to get out of hand and become a fully fleaged riot. Potentially there can be alot of damage that can be caused and the police need to restrict this.

But still they should been able to see the difference between a rioter and man walking along a street.

What do you think about what happened? Were the police right to do what they did? Or were the police too heavy handed?

After a 2 -2 draw at home to FC Porto Manchester United have announecd that they are going to be missing another two big  names for the away trip to Sunderland.

Johnny Evans has been named injured after the recurrence of a groan injury. He is struggling with same injury as Rio Ferdinand. Wayne Rooney received a blow to the ribs against Porto so he is a big doubt for the game.

It seems that the Premier League is getting so competitive now that some players who get very small knocks will be ruled out for a couple of weeks. I know that years ago players would receive knock and be able to play on. Back then tho the technology was not there tho. A lot of people would not be as fit as they are now.

Never the less I still think that some injuries that players have now are weak injuries. I mean how many footballers now break bones in there feet?

Britney Spears was at it again this week by crashing her car and causing a three car pile up. Witnesses say that no one was hurt and that she just lost concentration. Why don’t we have a system where if you crash your car all the time you have to do a refresher course. I think this is another example of how some celebrities don’t care. She will just get in one of her other cars, but the other people involved may be relying on that car for every day needs.

Over all tho I think this has been a lucky situation where no one has been hurt. It could of been much worse and someone could of been seriously hurt.

Britney Spears Crash

I was going to say that the only incident I can remember which involved Britney Spears was when she tried and speared a umbrella throw her ex’s car window.

BUT….

I found think picture which shows that she is a splendid driver. What parking Skills.
